Zhejiang Switchgear Factory Co., Ltd., built in 1965, is a joint-stock company reconstructed from Zhejiang Switchgear Factory (formerly named Zhejiang Electric Appliance Factory) in 2000. It is a high technology enterprise and a key enterprise of specially developing and manufacturing high-voltage apparatus, hgih/low voltage complete switchgear and electromagnetic wires. The company is located in Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province – a well-known national historic and cultural city. With the registered capital of RMB 100 million yuan, total assets of RMB 400 million yuan, floor space of 180,000 square meters, 529 sets of main equipment, 858 employees, of which 218 are scientific and technical personnels, the company has strong ability of development and design, it possesses provincial-level high-voltage apparatus  and switchgear quality test station, provincial electromagnetic wire quality test station, and has set up provincial-level enterprise technical center, provincial high voltage apparatus test and development research institute, provincial high voltage apparatus test base, postdoctor scientic research workstation and Zhejiang Tsinghua yangtze river delta reaearch institute high voltage apparatus development center. The company attaches great importance to the cooperation with international famous electrical appliance manufacturers and has successfully cooperated with Siemens, ABB, Eaton, Schneider and All-Russian Electrotechnical Institute in technology and production. The main products of the company are high voltage apparatus up to 250kV, series switchgear uo to 40.5kV, electromagnetic wires and copper processing products. Its year production scale may reach to 2000 million yuan.

        Its registered trademark and products have been continuously rated as famous trademark of Zhejiang Privince and name brand of Zhejiang Province. The company was successively awarded the titles of good faith demonstration enterprise of Zhejiang Province, excellent enterprise of technical innovation of Zhejiang province, AAA grade unit of abiding by contract and credit of Zhejiang Province and first batch of green enterprise of Zhejiang Province. With the the self-management import and export power, the products are well sold throught the whole country and exported to USA, Turkey, Sudan, India etc. over 20 countries and regions.
